Nile Valley School

Nile Valley School is a comprehensive English medium school with over 330 students from Nursery class to Grade 11. Our school curriculum is based on the best aspects of the American “Common Core,”. This year we celebrate our ‘First batch’ of graduating High School students following the IGCSE Programme. We place a special emphasis on what we believe are the two most important aspects of any curriculum – literacy, numeracy and Ethics. In addition to the standard core academic subjects, Nile Valley students take a variety of other classes including Art, PE, Music, Arabic, Religious Studies, and ICT (Information and Communication Technology).

The school was founded in 2012 and owned by Nile Valley Education Services Co. Ltd. NVS is operating under the licenses of Sudan Federal Ministry of Education and Khartoum State Ministry of Education.
The motto of Nile Valley School is “Ethics and Academic Excellence.” Our teachers are all well trained and fully qualified. They bring to the school a high level of expertise, experience and enthusiasm. We believe that a rigorous curriculum is important and students need to be challenged to do their best every day. We also try to instill a “love of learning,” where students challenge themselves, both academically and behaviorally.
While we understand the importance of having a strong academic program, we also understand that school plays a big part in the social and emotional development of children. We want all of our students to understand the importance of respect, responsibility, honesty and integrity. Our staff work hard every day teaching and modeling the types of behaviors we think are important and valued by society as a whole. At Nile Valley we want all students to be able to demonstrate that they have a high level of respect for their friends, classmates, family, school staff and most importantly, themselves. With the right skills and proper moral values we believe our students will be well prepared to become the future leaders in society.
We work hard to make the environment friendly and supportive. We value the opportunity to teach them and want you to know we care about every student and family.
We invite you to visit Nile Valley School and see for yourself the wonderful school environment that we have

While our website will certainly provide a glimpse into our school community, nothing compares to seeing and experiencing a school in person. We invite you to visit NVS and experience it for yourself. For scheduling purposes, we do require that you make an appointment prior to visiting the school. To arrange a visit and schedule an appointment please contact the admission office at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to the anticipated visit via: info@nilevalleyschool.com or by telephone call on: +249 183 731717(16).
